Aly is a burst of energy, a very sweet and soft tempered girl.
"The Hurricane" has developed beautifully and has been a big success in the conformation shows, has begun her working duties, and preparing to enter into her breeding career.
With her health testing completed, Aly's first pairing was with the magnificent Gunner, producing 7 gorgeous, well tempered, healthy Shiloh puppies. After this pairing, Aly will be bred with Gunner/Lola son Tracker in the Summer of 2009.
Aly started her show career at the Petrolia and Brampton shows in the fall of 2006. In Brampton '06 she was Winner's Bitch in the ISSDC Canada Fall Shiloh Specialty - at just 6 months of age!
Aly's 2007 show season began with a very large bang! At the 2007 Toronto Sportsmen Show Aly took 3x Winner's Bitch, 1x Best of Winners, 3x Best of Breed Puppy, 1x Group 2nd, 2x Group 1st, and 2x Reserve Best in Show Puppy (once in the same show that Gunner took Best in Show!) - all at just 10 months of age!
At the Brampton show in October 2007, Aly won the Best of opposite award in our ISSDC-Canada Specialty, opposite her future boyfriend Gunner who took Best in Specialty!
In May 2008, Aly became the third Bold Canine member to have earned at least one Best in Show placement, winning Best in Show at the RBCSWO Caledonia show!
In September 2008 Aly became the THIRD member of the Bold Canine team to be awarded a Canadian Grand Champion title, joining the small ground of Canadian Grand Champions with the RBCSWO! And was recognized as a National Select with the Breed Club - the ISSDC - in April 2009.

Aly now joins the rest of Team Bold Canine as Breed and a Grand Canadian Champion! At just one year of age Aly had completed her Breed & Canadian Championship and now only shows as a "Special" (with the other champions!). In September 2008 Aly completed her Canadian Grand Championship with the Rare Breed Club of South Western Ontario.
In early May of 2007 Aly earned her first Working Title (a suffix to her name) - HIC (Herding Instinct Certificate). Aly joins Gunner as the two Bold Canine Shiloh Shepherds with HIC on their title, and she is also far following in her mother's footsteps who was a Junior Herding Champion. We've been in contact with Sue Jewel of Have Ewe Herd and may possibly pursue more advanced herding with Aly at some point in the future.
In June of 2007 Aly was presented with certification of a passing Temperament Test which was organizied by the Rare Breed Performance Club of Ontario. In addition, Aly will began working with Caroline in Agility training at Olympus Dog Training Academy in Orangeville where we hope to have her compete once her show ring work is done.
